Sunday fun at Nanny's house...and more

Today we went to church with Nanny and Papa Gene and Halle-Grace met Joe Westfall. He married Jason and I. We ate lunch at Nanny's house and watched the Panthers, they didn't win! Uncle Mike and Hunter rocked Halle-Grace (it was really sweet)! Hannah and Halle-Grace played and Sophie was there too! When I walked in the door and saw Sophie, I lost it! I started crying because it made me miss Gabby even more!!! I remembered all the times they would run after one another. Gosh, I miss my Gabby girl!
Nanny had Halle-Grace's Halloween costume (see a sneak peak below) and dressed her up in a Panthers cheerleading outfit for the game! She loves to spoil the children! Thanks Nanny for a great lunch and for the glider. AND A BIG thanks to Aunt Suzie for carrying the glider into our house by herself! Halle-Grace will enjoy rocking (see the photo below) she and her daddy are in love!

When we arrived home, Lori, Kelly, Emma and Mary Claire came over to visit with Halle-Grace and the girls played so well together. Emma wrote Jason & I the sweetest note. She told us how brave we were to go SO FAR to bring Halle-Grace home and that we were great parents! It was very thoughtful and truly touched my heart. Lori and I have been friends since pre-school and we LOVE the entire family!

Enjoy the photos below...we are headed to Nanny's beach house later this week!!!

With my cousins Hunter and Hannah in our Panther gear...it didn't help them today:(
Hunter is so sweet to me

Just a sneak peak at part of my Halloween costume that Nanny ordered for me...I'll be the perfect little stinker
I love these people!!! Scott & Krista visit me a lot and I LOVE IT!
I am a Tarheel fan just like my dad. I brought them good luck and they won on Sat.!

My date with Stan at the coffee shop.

With my cousins Lizzy and Zoey and Granny

My daddy is in LOVE!

Too cute!! I can't believe that they didn't win with such an adorable fan cheering them on.

I have a possible theme for her birthday. Why not do a princess theme? She is definitely a princess! You could always go with the disney princess 'stuff' OR celebrateexpress.com has a very cute 1st birthday princess theme complete with plates, invites, banners, table cloths even a tiara and bib! You really should take a look at that website.

Do me a favor and ENJOY ever moment of this time including every fit, bite, and NO! that she will say. I can't believe that my baby will be 2 tomorrow. We all look forward to the firsts: first time we hear MaMa and DaDa, first step, first bite of 'real' food, etc. All too soon, the firsts are over and you realize that your baby is a little girl. It hit me so hard tonight. She wanted me to read two books to her. I never do this because 2 becomes 3, etc. I caved tonight and said ok I'll read two books since this is the last time I will read to you while you are one. I barely got through the 2nd book and prayers!! Don't get me wrong. I'm looking forward to watching her grow up but I just don't want you to 'wish' away any time with her because a stage she is going through is tough. Ok, I'm through with my soapbox speech now. :)
I can't wait to come and see y'all!! Kaitlyn and I have both been sick(she had pneumonia/I have bronchitis) but we are feeling better now. Maybe we could see you this Sunday? Let me know!

Sherry, I agree with the princess theme. She sure is our precious princess and we love her so much. Tell that precious little princess Kaitlyn Happy 2nd Birthday. She is a special little girl also.
