The platform I will continue to represent throughout my reign is "Building Families Through the Miracle of Adoption". As you know, we have experienced the absolute JOY of the Journey and it's my goal to continue motivating and educating others, so they can also build their families. As Mrs. International and through my partnership with the National Council For Adoption, I will continue to spread my message of HOPE, inspiring others to NEVER give up on their dreams of building a family!

Congrats Shannon!!! I'm so HAPPY for you! We had the pleasure of meeting at Mrs. NC United States a few years ago and I'm still in touch with Marietta. I do hope we will meet again. I still have the lovely necklace you sold me and get many compliments on it, I'll be wearing it for luck at my own pageant in 2 weeks. Way to make all us Carolina girls proud and have a WONDERFUL year!!
