Our brave little miracle

Miss Magic had surgery today and she is doing well, recovering and stealing the hearts of everyone...the doctors, nurses...
She was SO brave, never cried, complained...the perfect patients! Thanks to everyone who came to the hospital and for everyone who was praying for Miss Magic! Mrs. Mandy took very special care of her. She gave her a very special surgical hat with pink polka dots and lady bugs!

Halle-Grace, you are loved by so many...one day, when you can fully understand...it will blow you away! My angel is resting well tonight, thank you Lord for watching over her! Please continue to pray for a quick recovery!

Sesame Street Live Continued...Hey, LOOK ZOE!

This video is PRICELESS! Her excitement and squeals will bring a smile to your face immediately! However, Miss Magic doesn't stop there...when she spots Zoe, one of her favorite Sesame Street characters, HG remembers that she is wearing ZOE PANTIES. She was SO proud!!! As you will see, she announces loudly to everyone around, then proceeds to FLASH the Sesame Street characters!

River Walk...Miss Magic Style

Whatever HG sees mama wearing/doing, she wants to wear and do the same thing (I think it's adorable)! When I have to travel, I send Halle-Grace photos. She LOVES pageants and normally expects to see lots of glitz and glam. When you watch her video below, you will see...she adapts really well and even adds her own personal touch... Miss Magic has style!!!

We are judging the Texas International Pageants this weekend in San Antonio...TOUGH job! Good Luck to all of the ladies! Be confident, just like Halle-Grace, and have FUN! For the record, I can assure you that we were not performing "lyrical" at the River Walk today...that's all HG!!!

QUEENS!

Hannah is crowned Tiny Miss West Lincoln

And...the tradition continues! On Saturday, my nieces, Hannah, Lizzy & Zoey competed in their first pageant! Hannah approached me in January and told me she would like to enter. Lizzy and Zoey were on board within a few days as well :) I allowed the girls to select their own dresses and made them promise to make a commitment to prepare, practice, and above all...have a GREAT attitude about the day, regardless of the outcome! Of course, I think they are absolutely adorable, beautiful, and they are WINNERS...not only in pageantry but in LIFE! I seriously was blown away by their performances on Saturday! They were little PROS and each one had a fantastic time! I enjoyed every step of the journey and loved getting them prepared before and on pageant day!

Little Ones Magazine

Halle-Grace's 3rd Birthday is featured in Little Ones Magazine

A big thanks to everyone who made this day "practically perfect in every way". Cynthia, you were the BEST Mary Poppins EVER!!! Chance, your talent blows me away! You know how to PLAN a party! The decorations were absolutely amazing! Monica, your cakes get better every year and this one truly took the cake...and Jason, you were a HUGE help making sure the candy apples were ordered, the food ordered and delivered, the Mary Poppins soundtrack was PERFECT for the Carousel rides, and everything else you did helped make HG's 3rd birthday celebration a JOLLY HOLIDAY!

Love Knows NO Borders!

After 3 VERY LONG years, Saigon Skye (also known as Phan) is FINALLY home with her forever family! What a testimony! God has a way of knowing when people belong together! NEVER give up on your dreams of building your family! Saigon Skye and her forever family left Vietnam last night!
Jodi (her mother) was the first American (TQ family) I met in Vietnam back in August, 2008. She and her husband were so gracious to send Jason & I photos and even a video of Little Miss Magic.
Phan has been on my mind and heart all of this time! Words cannot express how estatic I am knowing she is FINALLY with her forever family! Tears of JOY are rolling :)
